It has now been around 9 months since travelling through Uttarakhand with Rahul and I still feel compelled to write this. I have many memories of our time together, some of the best in my 6 months travelling in India.
Rahul quite quickly transitioned from ‘tour guide’ to ‘life-long friend’ in my conception and I am extremely grateful for our time together. I never actually really wanted to go on an organised tour, it was my girlfriend’s idea, I wanted to ‘discover it myself’ sort of thing, but turns out I’m not Columbus, she’s right as always, and a tour with Rahul was far from my notion of what a tour could be. I got to see and learn so much more by going on tour with Rahul than I could have by going it alone. I would just like to write a brief account of our journey together and encourage anybody looking to experience some of India’s true beauty that you may otherwise miss out on to go on tour with Rahul....READ MORE
In March of 2015 I chose to join Rahul and one other person on a two week adventure which began in Delhi, India. During the time we spent with Rahul he was always very attentive to our needs and very considerate regarding our level of comfort in food and accommodations. It was such a pleasure for me to venture in new areas of India that I might not have otherwise visited and he was clearly passionate in introducing us to venues and people that were very welcoming and warm.
After this adventure with Rahul I would definitely recommend his tours to anyone who is interested in having a unique adventure with someone who is very knowledgeable and passionate about his country and its people. Thank you Rahul for such a heart-warming experience.
I had a wonderful time doing Rahuls tour.
I was a lone female traveler and he made me feel super comfortable and safe on the tour always making sure I was ok.
I feel Rahuls tours are quite different and unique from others. He showed us a more authentic side of India.
On the tour I chose to do in the Kasar Devi mountains, we saw some spectacular scenery and meet some beautiful indian families. We really got see how they are living still in this modern day and how they have continued to live for hundreds of years.
He took us to some lovely Ashrams that are also still doing things very traditionally also which I feel is getting harder to find in India.
Rahul looks at life in a beauty that quite different. He was able to open my mind to noticing a beauty to life that I otherwise would have missed.
I completely recommend doing a tour with Rahul, you won't find any other like it.
Last spring me and my cousin had the lovely opportunity to have Rahul Godara! as our tour guide to Vrindavan and the Taj Mahal!
Rahul's knowledge of the culture and spirituality of India impressed us deeply! Fun loving warm and completely and ease Rahul treated us as 'best friends'! We could relax and truly enjoy each and every fascinating aspect of India's rich cultural and spiritual heritage and it's wonderful people!
