Sh’ar Shaqed is a modern interpretation of the ancient martial art used by the Levitical Gatekeepers of Israel. Translated into english, we call it ‘Vigilant Gate.’ My school is a faith-based initiative that teaches practitioners the disciplined lifestyle and mental focus of the Priesthood. My life focus has been on the priesthood of believers, and several years ago I began this journey with the Lord to develop a means of transferring the priestly principles and purposeful lifestyle into believers. It required a medium that went beyond classes and sermons and books. I dedicated three years to forming the framework of V.G. in the context of shoarim before opening the school. Now with the school growing, I continue to develop the higher degrees, and praise God for the impact V.G. has already made in the lives of my students.
